Titanic Steps In To Rescue The Hunter

Titanic Brewery has stepped in to take temporary charge of a rural north Staffordshire pub.

The Hunter at Saverley Green, between Fullford and Creswell, closed suddenly due to financial difficulties. But Stoke-on-Trent based Titanic has agreed to reopen the pub from Thursday, 6 November, on a temporary basis while the owner looks for a tenant.

Dave Bott, joint owner of Titanic Brewery, said: “We have supplied beers to The Hunter since January and were sad to hear of its closure.

“It has always been a popular local pub and we hope to be able to attract people back in. If that happens then perhaps The Hunter will still have a future.”
