Politicians and visitors to Parliament are now able to raise a toast with beer from the Potteries.
Burslem based Titanic Brewery’s Anchor beer is on tap in the House of Commons for a month from 6 March, 2009.
Anchor bitter will be on sale in the Strangers Bar which is a major meeting point between MPs and visitors to Westminster.
Stoke-on-Trent North MP Joan Walley was among the first to raise a toast to the success of her local brewery.
She said: “There is great local pride in the success of Titanic's awards winning beer. The company is constantly improving the quality and range of its real ale and outlets.
“Its growing reputation is helping promote the very best of Burslem. I am delighted it is now on tap for a month in Parliament's Strangers Bar.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to promote the very best British beer from Burslem .”
