Happy Customer says: I have recently visited your pub "THE GREYHOUND" and felt it was an opportune time to tell you of my thoughts regarding the establishment.

Me and a couple of work colleagues went to the pub for a lazy afternoon drinking one week day not long after the pub opened and I can say(and I also speak for my two mates) that we had a fantastic day for the following reasons..........

The beer, we drank ICEBERG all day and it is a wonderful pint(however it does have a habit of lulling you into a false sense of security!! as I found out when I stumbled home)

The staff, brilliant, good service and good value plain no nonsense food! staff that actually know about the beer there serving and staff that will happily pour a little taster if you fancy trying a different brew.

The pub, lovely setting that has quality and style written all over it.

The customers.....sensible people who don?t wear hoodies etc etc etc

You may perhaps feel that I have gone overboard a bit, but please allow me to elaborate. My friends and I are aged mid to late thirties. We have done our days of clubbing and have families of our own and your pub just hits all the right spots....Thanks ever so much!!!!!!!!!!!!

My only criticism is that you don?t have a TITANIC pub within walking distance of my house.

EB says: We live just around the corner from the Greyhound and we have now made it our Local. The staff are friendly, the choice of bitter (for the boys) and wine for us girls is perfect,Plus they have a really good range of snacks and a simple menu which is perfect for a pub lunch.
The y have made the best of the outside also which is ideal for us few?! remaining smokers! Would highly recommend.
