Tragic Titanic Menu To Be Recreated As Pub Celebrates Link With Award Winning Brewery

A Staffordshire Moorlands pub is serving up special fare based on the last meal served on the ill fated Titanic as it celebrates the launch of a new partnership with the Titanic Brewery, Stoke-on-Trent.

The Huntsman, in Brookhouse, Cheadle, is well known for its real ales, and has just agreed a deal to add the award wining Titanic range to its range.

And, items from the last meal served on the Titanic will be added to the food menu as licensees, and brothers, Kieran and Conor Devine host a range of events to celebrate the new partnership with the Titanic Brewery

The special event is now underway and runs until 7 February.

Conor said: “We pride ourselves on the quality of the beer we serve, so it is great to have established new links with Titanic, especially as they are a local brewery.

“We have organised a beer festival with the brewery to celebrate, and have decided to add items from the White Star liner’s menu as a special treat.”

A selection of Titanic Beers will be on offer, including multiple award winners Iceberg, White Star, Titanic Stout, Captain Smith’s and the enigmatic Chocolate and Vanilla Stout (inspired by the last sweet of éclairs enjoyed by first class passengers on the fateful night of 14 April.

The Huntsman’s existing heritage photo collection will be augmented by a collection of Titanic pictures and memorabilia.

During the 12 day event, customers will stand a chance of to winning one of 15 places on a tour of the Titanic Brewery.

Brewery Director, Dave Bott said: “In the nine months that Keiran and Conor have run the Huntsman it has been transformed into a vibrant community pub which is much loved by regulars and visitors to the Staffordshire Moorlands.

“We are delighted to be able to work with them and wish them well for the future.”
