First Class Day 2021

After a much anticipated wait, our First Class Day returned on Saturday 9th October. We were very pleased to welcome back our First Class members and their guests to our brewery for an afternoon of beer, food, music, brewery tours and of course, more beer.

A great day was had by all. The Brewery was open for tours so everyone could see how our great beer is made. The Brewery team walked through the process step by step, giving the opportunity to try the raw malt and hops to see the difference in the taste from raw to being brewed into beer.

The food was supplied by Lets Go catering who provided us with some delicious Fish and Chips and Burritos. Also with us were Chartley Coffee who supply our coffee and were serving copious amounts of Lattes and Americanos throughout the day.

We had live music from Helen Walford and her band that took us back to the 70’s and 80’s with a mix of rock and Americana. Music surrounded by friends and drinking great beer made for a heart-warming afternoon here at the Brewery.

In past years bottle tops were used as drink tokens. This year we used beer stickers (bad luck for those who were collecting) that we set out to cover our Titanic ship.

Together with our stickers, we had Michelle from The Royal Exchange walking around with her charity bucket to take cash donations from our members. With the stickers and the bucket combined we raised nearly £600 which will be split between two local charities; The Alice Charity and UHNS Neonatal Unit.

Feel like you missed out? Our rewards scheme will be back up and running shortly in our pubs and café bars. Ask at the bar how you can become a First Class Member and be a part of this fun filled day.

If you want to come and see where Titanic beer is brewed, why not book onto one of our brewery tours. They can be found on our Tours and Events page on our website. Use this link to take you there
