Captain Smiths Bottles

For nostalgia lovers this beer was first brewed in 1986 and was even then a retrospective on all that was good about traditional recipes.

Named after one of the most famous of sea captains of all time – Captain Edward Smith, who was born in Stoke on Trent.

Available in case size 8x500ml.

TASTING NOTE: Deep ruby, softly hopped, strong ale. The malty flavours and aromas are twinned with a gentle sweetness in this traditional bitter.

Allergen Advice: this beer contains barley & wheat.

  1. Simone

Rich, elegant, commplex and drinkable as well; full sensorial cohesion, great balance between sweetness and bitterness.

  2. Marko 666

A red/Brown, full bodied beer hoppy and bitter with a sweetness and roast malt flavour and a good strong finish. The flavour dances on the taste buds and it fills you mouth with a bittersweet after taste!

  3. Glyn

Takes me back to the days of Old Roger/Old Tom/Old Peculiar. Absolutely super this one, strong and smooth.
