I have recently visited your pub "THE GREYHOUND" and felt it was an opportune time to tell you of my thoughts regarding the establishment.
Me and a couple of work colleagues went to the pub for a lazy afternoon drinking one week day not long after the pub opened and I can say (and I also speak for my two mates) that we had a fantastic day for the following reasons..........
The beer, we drank ICEBERG all day and it is a wonderful pint (however it does have a habit of lulling you into a false sense of security!! as I found out when I stumbled home)
The staff, brilliant, good service and good value plain no nonsense food! staff that actually know about the beer there serving and staff that will happily pour a little taster if you fancy trying a different brew.
The pub, lovely setting that has quality and style written all over it.
The customers.....sensible people who don’t wear hoodies etc etc etc
You may perhaps feel that I have gone overboard a bit, but please allow me to elaborate. My friends and I are aged mid to late thirties. We have done our days of clubbing and have families of our own and your pub just hits all the right spots....Thanks ever so much!!!!!!!!!!!!
My only criticism is that you don’t have a TITANIC pub within walking distance of my house.
We live just around the corner from the Greyhound and we have now made it our Local. The staff are friendly, the choice of bitter (for the boys) and wine for us girls is perfect, plus they have a really good range of snacks. They have made the best of the outside also which is ideal for us few?! remaining smokers! Would highly recommend.
Great beer, great staff, great customers. It's the sort of pub that you look forward to at the weekend, and look for excuses to visit during the week. Also the pub snacks are great (and addictive!) Any more Titanic varieties on tap?
we use the greyhound every other Tuesday for our motorcycle club night we have been made very welcome by everyone the bonus is the very good beer and service
Visited Greyhound for first time, with friend and my dog Dylan Choc.Lab. Firstly, staff FANTASTIC, knew their jobs, friendly and welcoming, second, beer, plum best drink had in a long time, other drinkers, friendly, chatty, a fantastic night, even the dog enjoyed it, i should add he his very well behaved and loved the fuss that was made of him. So great to have a pub that knows how to cater for people, you have a gem, keep up the good work, we shall certainly b visiting again
