The Sun Pub in Stafford is firmly placed within the heart of the town’s community.

There’s always a conversation to be had in this comfortable retreat which is regarded as the ‘local’, even if you aren’t a Staffordian!

The Sun has a great menu with home cooked dishes to fill the hungriest of bellies and has weekly food offers from pie night to steak night – perfect with a pint of Titanic ale!

With 12 hand-pulls there’s a great range of ales on the bar, guest ales are on a regular rotation so always something different on the bar to try.

Recently opened, The Sun Deck is a wonderful covered, outside space to the rear of the pub which is ideal for al fresco drinking or dinning. The Sun Deck has it’s own bar which is open at busy times offering a selection of draft, canned and bottled craft beers. With a retractable ‘sun roof’ for summer days and heaters for cool nights, this addition to The Sun provides the perfect setting for catching up with family and friends in Stafford.

The Sun holds a biannual beer festival which historically have taken place in May and August. These events are great for beer lovers and live music lovers alike, after all these two things do go hand in hand! Keep an eye out for the next beer festival as it’s not to be missed.

    My family are regular visitors to your venue in Stafford, The Sun Inn.
    I just wanted to take a moment to congratulate your staff on the wonderful service that they are providing since reopening.
    In particular one gentleman (very tall, shaven haired man) is an absolute credit to your business. We were very well looked after on Friday afternoon / evening. His attitude towards your customers and workload is amazing.

    Please could you pass on my thanks and let him know that we appreciate his efforts under these most difficult of circumstances.

    I visited The Sun pub in Stafford today what a gem of a pub it is I could not fault it in any way and the beer is just superb. I just live in hope you may be able to open more pubs and maybe one in south staffs so I could visit more.
